Review by hotel critic
Royal Pedregal is truly a hidden gem in Mexico City that I stumbled upon during my recent stay. The elegant ambiance and friendly staff set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The culinary offerings at the Primavera Restaurant were a delightful surprise. As a Canadian with a penchant for unique flavors, I was thrilled to discover the innovative Author's Cuisine on the menu.My dining journey began with the Bacalao Stuffed Peppers, a succulent dish that expertly combined textures and flavors. Next up, the Broken Eggs with Chistorra added a touch of spice that danced on my palate. To round off my meal, the Cheesecake was a perfect blend of creamy sweetness. Each bite was a testament to the chef's creativity and dedication to culinary excellence. While I didn't get a chance to dine at Tezka restaurant specializing in Basque cuisine, the lobby bar offered a cozy setting to unwind with a delicious cocktail. The property's breakfast buffet, including nearby dining options like Sushi Itto and El Bajio, catered perfectly to my morning cravings. From the exquisite decor to the serene surroundings, Royal Pedregal exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're a traveler with a taste for culinary innovation, this hotel is a must-visit destination.
